“One word I had in mind for this record was, ‘psychedelic’. A dreamy, otherworldly feel”, verrät Isobel Campbell.

Über den Song sagt Isobel Campbell selbst: "I think a lot. Possibly too much sometimes. In the song am kind of just wondering...how do we make sense of one individual dot on this planet? And of all the outside chatter? With so many people alive on earth...right here, right at this moment. How do I make sense of my own little minuscule ant life? Does it matter? Isolation and separateness thinking doesn't seem to work out much (from my experience anyway). And with technology everything has gotten faster and faster. Are we spinning out of control? Who's in the driving seat? Are we robots now? Where is humankind going with all of this? I very much feel like it's so easy to live this Orwellian 1984 disconnected 'Big Brother is Watching' type of existence these days. And when traffic is immense and cars are zipping by I can get this feeling of being carried along. Like in a school of fish. It's a giddy hectic overwhelming feeling which reminds me of Formula 1, NASCAR or of the scalextric cars my brother had when he was a boy.  At moments and times like that I do very much feel like one tiny dot on this planet. In contrast when I'm in nature or thinking about or with friends and loved ones I expand and feel connected, vast and eternal. That stuff is the nectar of life. It's the best."

Nach dem Tom Petty-Cover „Runnin‘ Down A Dream“ enthüllte Isobel Campell nauch ihre verträumte und sonnige Seite: Die dritte Single „Hey World“ ist eine sanfte Liebeserklärung an den Gospel sowie den Southern-Soul der Sixties. Der Song entstand vollkommen unvermittelt, wie Isobel Campbell selbst verrät: „My husband was playing the guitar part one night and I just started singing the words and tune to myself from the kitchen„.
